Our agency is adding a bilingual sales representative to help individuals, families and small businesses across Chesterfield, Richmond, Henrico, Colonial Heights and Petersburg. You will be a trusted voice for our Spanish-speaking neighbors as well as our English-speaking customers.
Responsibilities:
Our agency is adding a bilingual sales representative to help individuals, families and small businesses across Chesterfield, Richmond, Henrico, Colonial Heights and Petersburg. You will be a trusted voice for our Spanish-speaking neighbors as well as our English-speaking customers.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound leads, calls and walk-ins in English and Spanish.
- Run needs-based conversations and prepare quotes for auto, home, renters, life, health and business coverage.
- Follow up with prospects and customers, schedule appointments and cross-sell at policy reviews.
- Help customers with policy changes, billing questions and service requests.
- Keep accurate customer records and follow agency and compliance procedures.
- Work toward weekly activity and sales goals with coaching from the agent.
- Build referrals through community involvement and customer relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual Spanish/English, spoken and written (required).
- Property and casualty license, or must be able to obtain one.
- Life and health license a plus.
- Prior experience in sales or customer service (insurance, banking, auto, telecom or retail) preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable with sales goals.
- Reliable, organized, self-motivated and coachable.
- Comfortable with computers; training provided.
